Privacy policy
Last updated 31 October 2026
The short version: the App Store version of Cullmate doesn't collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking, in the app or on this website.
Who we are
Cullmate is made by Kevin Davies, an independent developer based in the UK. For anything to do with privacy, email support@getcullmate.com.
The app
Cullmate runs entirely on your iPhone. The App Store version has no server, doesn't connect to the internet, and contains no third-party code for adverts, analytics or tracking.
Your progress and settings are stored only on your device. We can't see them, and they're deleted if you delete the app.
When you share a level or a result, Cullmate opens the standard iPhone share sheet. You choose what to send and who to send it to, and it goes directly from your phone. We never receive it.
Buying the app
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple's own privacy policy covers how it handles your purchase.
Crash reports
If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports and basic usage figures. These don't identify you, and we only use them to fix problems. You can turn this off at any time in Settings, under Privacy and Security, then Analytics and Improvements.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind, and the puzzle on the home page runs entirely in your browser.
Like any website, it's served by a hosting provider, which may briefly keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working. We don't use these logs to identify anyone.
Emailing us
If you email us, we'll receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to help with your question. We don't add you to any mailing list, and we never share or sell your details.
We keep support emails for up to 12 months after a conversation ends, then delete them. Our legal basis for handling them is our legitimate interest in answering your questions.
Children
Cullmate is suitable for all ages. Because the App Store version collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you, which in practice means any emails you've sent us. Just email support@getcullmate.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, for example if we add a new feature that stores data somewhere other than your phone, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
